under a bridge in fl
got the idea mostly from pics on mfk. :headbang2
havent tested it but im sure it will work good.
i made it for my wooden pond.
im going to notch the top wood so its hidden, will get pics as i finish.
pump will be 200gph.
im guessing its about 3' long.
i used 2"caps on 2" pvc.then drilled a hole in the cap.
then got a few pvc connectors.hose to 1/2",1/2" into 2"cap.
then 2" cap to 1/2" then to pond.
the small pvc inside is incase the media gets clogged, the water will still flow.
it stays at the top.
not sure how many scrubbies it will hold.
im going to fill about 3/4 of it with scrubbies, other 1/4 filter fiber.

It looks good.
very interesting, I have a question (keep in mind I dont know much about making your own pvc filter) but I dont see that any of the end caps are screw on<<<<once you cement them in place how will you be able to open it up to clean the media?
