My first flowerhorn breeding.

This is my first time breeding flowerhorns. Male blue thai silk and an unknown (wild?) Female that I purchased at a lfs. I will be removing the eggs to a separate tank tonight. What and when do I start feeding the fry? Thanks for the help

Start feeding fry when they are free swimming about 3 days after hatching. Best first food is fresh hatched baby brine shrimp. There are powdered fry foods available. In warmer weather I grow daphnia outside to feed fry.

Very cool pair! Flowerhorn are man-made though so they don’t occur in the wild.

Nice! This would be a hard pair sorting and culling fry. I think I would keep only the pearliest early on. Good luck.
