Hi guys,

Today, I finally bought my first Snakeheads.

These fish stand out in my "stock" as:

1. the only fish I have which can be described as "peaceful"

2. which are not going to ridiculously large for their tank :D

I have 5 specimen between 3 and 4 inches. These are currently kept in a 15 Gal tank with a very large sponge filter and a Boyu internal filter running 24x7.

I will move them to my 50 gal in a couple of months when I get a new tank for my Malawi cichlids.

Very nice pics. God i wish we could legally have Snake heads here in the U.S. maybe ill move out of the country just to get one :D

Thanks guys..

I haven't had the time to set-up the tank properly in terms of decor and aesthetics. I plan to spend some more time on this over the next week.

I wanted to start with the Dwarfs (sp. Assam seemed a bit more "exclusive" compared to the Channa Bleheri). I plan to get an Auranti in some time before "graduating" to the Barca. "Big Plans", right? ..Let's see how these cheap and cheerful sp. Assams works out.. :)
