This is my 25inch GG and 4 oscars tank. If my GG doesn't plan to stop growing I must properly start thinking to upgrade this 317 gal tank to a 500 gal. She is only 2,5 years old.

I don't have any experience with GG's but she is dwarfing the Oscar's.:)

For a GG she is still young and she is still a few years away from adult size. How is the oscars going to look when she is full adult size.

That is amazing how the GG makes this tank look small. Is this 317g a 6 or 8ft tank? Is there a sump involved? Just curious how the water parameters hold up.

Not making fun of the Oscar's they will just look small compared to the GG. Is she the dominant one in the aquarium?

It is a 6' x 2'11" high. I do 200gal water changes weekly. There is an internal filter with lava rock on the left side with a 1320gal/h pump and another 528gal/h canister. With fish that produce huge amounts of waste you must keep water parameters in check and correct.

The oscars is all ready looking small againt her, and they are going to look extra small against her. The GG is so calm. She protect the lutino tiger and lemon oscar. About every second to third week she normally bite the dominant oscar male to calm him down.

That's great she does that. You are also doing a great job maintaining them, it would be a extremely hard challenge for myself due to the bioload.

It takes me between 5 to 6 hours to clean the tank. Water changes take long because of the bad tap water we've got. To keep my fish healthy is important to me. My GG is more a dog always looking for attention. She's got the habit to bang hard on the glass that you must play with her. She is really spoiled.
