Hi everyone My motoro pups arrived today and boy are they cute! We have been going through a grueling 5 hour acclimation process but they are doing great so far. I got them from JohnG, who has 3 beautiful pups left ($225 for all three + shipping).
They arrived at 9am and I opened the bag, eager to see what was inside. I had to open 3 bags to get to them, so it felt like one of those presents you get with a box inside of a box inside of a box! Got inside and WOW! One is much bigger than the other! I knew this before I got them (3" female and 4.5" male) but was surprised when I actually laid my eyes on them. Soooo cute. Very happy with how they were shipped, and how they were handled throughout the process.

As I started a knotted air hose drip into the bags to slowly acclimate them [hopefully] stress-free, I prepped the blackworms I ordered.

This was a new thing for me, and I rinsed them in treated cool water with my hands Not the funnest experience. Lol. I finally figured out the best way to rinse them (net ... ) and got them in the fridge. I kept a few out (the ones I couldn't get off the bottom of the bowl ) and squirted em into the ray bag. Pretty sure they ate a few of them. I went into the other room (still can see them and hear them) to get on the forums and all of the sudden I hear a little splashing. The male has decided that he wants to crawl up the sides and is playing in the water. He is so cute, so I gently reach my hands down to his head and give him a pet. He sat there and seemed to enjoy it. The little one is a little more shy.
I sped up the drip once pH started getting closer to acclimate the temperature. After I got to this point, the temp acclimation was a lot faster.
Next I transferred them into their new temporary home (125) where they will be for about a month or two until the 300g arrives (ordering it in about a week).
