My Malaysian Trumpet Snails....laid eggs??

Before I went to bed last night I was walking by the tank and noticed something strange out of the corner of my eye. I stopped and took another look and there were several clumps of small white eggs on the glass. A couple of the clumps had a Malaysian Trumpet Snail in the middle of them. Everything I've read says that they are live bearing, but I don't think anything else could have laid the eggs. The other 20g long tankmates include Harlequin Rasboras, Rummy-Nose Tetras, and some Corys. The eggs were still there this morning. Anyone else experience anything like this? Anyone want some MTS?

I'll post some pics this evening when I get home from work.

I don't think it'll handle a lot of people looking at it at the same time, but give it a shot.

Cory eggs! Congratulations!!!

Wow...cool! Now that you mention it I did notice the corys kind of spazzing out when I walked passed when I noticed the eggs. So now I need a crash course on raising fry. I removed the eggs and put them in a spare tank with no other critters in it, just tank water, a heater, and some air to keep the water moving. The eggs seem to be fertile and developing.

I went to the LFS to ask if they had anything for feeding fry and their advice was that there was no way of caring for them. I've been getting more and more dissatisfied with this place and I think this is the last straw; I won't be going back. So now I need to call around to try to find a place that knows what to feed them and also sells it.

What about trying to hatch some brine shirmp eggs (Artemia Naupliae) to feed your cory fry? not sure if it will work or not, but thats what some one told me to do when my Palembang puffers mated and had fry...

you can try crushing flake to powder and feeding that or nls has growth formula, but they will probably eat any food that hits the bottom and becomes soft enough to pick at. You will probably want to separate them once they become fry so they dont get eaten

Looking good, Im can see them swiming around in there
