This is him a couple weeks after I got him. he is showing awesome personality just like most flowerhorn and great color. I think he is an SRD. Please let me know if you think different. I will update his growth over the next few months on this thread. Feel free to post your Petco/Petsmart flowerhorn on this thread.IMG_0235.JPG IMG_0236.JPG IMG_0239.JPG IMG_0265.JPG IMG_0266.JPG IMG_0332.JPG IMG_0324.JPG IMG_0331.JPG IMG_0314.JPG IMG_0329.JPG IMG_0337.JPG

Update: His color is coming in. Not much change in so size so I'm probably going to upgrade him to a 29 gallon this week. He is in a 10 gallon which I believe has been very good for the time being because I keep perimeters where they shoulf be and overfilter 3x, feed him high quality food, proper temperature, and at 3-3.5 inches he has plenty of room to move around and feel comfortable. So yes you can grow out a flowerhorn in a 10 gallon but for very temporarily. I have only had him in here for a little over a month.

Color is starting to enhance greatly. Growth is still very suttle. I think he will start to grow greatly in size once I upgrade his tank. The new tank is setup with cycled media already in it but I wanted to let it run for a week just to be safe. Im moving him this weekend.
