These guys get on great together, the Chalceus is an eating machine and the flagtail seems to not like anything other than algae or flakes.
The flagtail is currently best buddies with my oscar. they do everything together.
Flag tail is one of the most characteristic fish I have, once I got rid of his more aggressive tankmates he came out of his shell. he now will follow me around the room and come up to the glass much like a giant gourami or large cichlid.
Always wanted a chalceus ever since I had my first job in a fish store at age 14. It's been 7 years but finally I have one, and a really nice one at that. He absolutely stuffs himself on Hikari gold
