My Serrasalmus Compressus

Last week I picked up a Serrasalmus Compressus. It is still small at about 3 inches. I am growing it out in a 50g till its ready for the 110. I have a good sized power head at the one of the tank pumping 1400gph. Its angled so there are dead spots for him to rest in as well. well be fed shrimp, worms, pellets, krill, and maybe the odd live fish.

Very nice. I haven't been able to find any P's at any lfs in a few years. With him in the 50 grow out he will be in there for a while before he needs the 110. I had a Blue Diamond Rhom I picked up Just under 4" and had him in a 180. He went from under 4" to 9.5" in 2 years and then I sold him. Still miss that fish and he used every inch of the 180.

On 2nd thought mine is in much brighter lite then yours and around 6" but when mine was smaller it heavily resembled yours.
