In two days it will be one month since I bought my Thai Channa Striata / Striped Snakehead.
I never knew what a great personality Striata had. This Striata King never disappointed me and in fact surpasses my expectation. This is a Snakehead fish that will surprise and even shock you.
Very aggressive, great fighter, incredibly fast, fearless, unstoppable and greedy. I have a 10 inches Platinum Channa Argus I would say my little Striata is far more demanding, aggressive and brave. He has an adult fish spirit and calmness in a baby Snakehead body.
Almost one month ago I bought a 3 inches Thai Striata that was skinny, unfed and stressed. He shocked me when he fearlessly fought with my 4 healthy attacking Channa Pleuro pack. This Striata single handledly defeated all 4 of them!
Today he is 6 inches long! 6 inches! And my Pleuros are still 3 inches! Striata added 3 inches in almost a month! What about next month? I have attached below pictures of him when he was at 3 inches with the Pleuros and all by himself today.
