Alright, so I everything up correctly filled the canister up half way with water turned the "ON" switch on for 10 seconds and then turn it Off. Well I tried that and nothing happen, it keeps suck up watcher but nothing is happening. So I need some help, this is the 4th filter I've gone through within the past two weeks. I know its a bit ridiculous, tell me about it. Should I disconnect the intake and fill it up with water manually or what? Any help would be much appreciated.

yes thats what i do and maker sure all the tubes are into the water and make sure the tube is lined up with the hole in the filter

Are the valve locks open? Input connected to input, ouptut to output?

There is a fill line on the canister. It's posible that you didn't fill it up with enough water.

Shouldn't be that hard to prime it. Make sure your cables are open. Fill canister to line, turn on and count to 10, then turn off to let it fill up. Burp by tilting to get rest of air out of the canister, and when you turn it on it should start up normally.

I found the best way with mine was to stop using it. Just too much of a pain to get started every time I cleaned it. I almost put it on another tank again until I saw your thread.

Sorry for the negative reply,

Good luck
