im going to panama city in june this year and i plan on going to fish there, anybody have any good fishing spots that i can catch some managuense or peacock bass. im not looking for the typical largemouth or bluegill

I'm afraid you're not going to find those fish in Panama City. You would have to get down in the Miami area to find many introduced cichlids.

anything in the somewhat vacinity of panama city?

There is some great saltwater fishing down there, and the big secret is that the Florida Panhandle is a great place to catch giant tarpon in the surf zone., and June is just the right time. Now the best way to hook up would be to hire a guide, but you can do a lot of beach fishing or pier fishing as well.
I hooked up with this big boy on fly a couple of years ago. 90 pounds, broke my fly rod when I had the fish at the boat.

panama has lots of kings and cobia around that time prowling the beach also deepsea isnt that bad.
