Tilapia of some sort. duanes duanes may know.

There are many genera in the Tilapine group, and many species in each genus
25 species in Coptodon
30 in Oreochromis
another dozen of so in Saratherodon
and many, many others, and many look very much alike.
And mood and alpha status contribute to color display.
If you know what kind of, or what location the shipment came from it would help.
If it came in with a group of fish from Lake Barumbi mbu, then it might be Saratherodon caroli.
If from Lake Bermin, then one of the Coptodon (maybe C discolor).
an example here is Saratherodon linellii

here is another linellii in a different mood

Here are some more
Coptodon bythobates from lake Bermin

Coptodon zillii, probably the generic ancestor to all other Coptodon

And from lake Barumbi mbu that look less Tilapine
the genus Stomatepia
first S pindu (one of my favorite)

and S mariae

and Konia eisentraudti
Then those from Lake Natron (saltier than the ocean)
Alcolapia alcalicus male

female
in with linnellii

i find Tilapines to be some of the most interesting cichlids.
Got my 1st ones in the late 1950s, Oreochromis mossambicus.
Had Heterptilapia buttikoferi kill every fish in a tank, whereas in nature they follow hippos around eating the hippo feces.
There is one in Lake Barumbi mbo, that feeds almost exclusively on fresh water sponges (Pungu maclerani)
Some come from as far north as Iran, and Israell.
Saratherodon galiliius and Iranocichla hormuzensus.
the Parachromis like Tilapine predators Stometapia pindu and mongo

and then those that live in water more saline than the ocean, in such shallow water the temps reach above 90'F, the Alcolapia.

You could probably start collecting Tilapines as a kid (like I did) and never get them all by the time you're too old to make water changes, so eating them is the next best thing.

Here in Panama they have been introduced to mountain lakes where they virtually take over.
