C chesterthehero Feeder Fish MFK Member May 12, 2009 #6 its very round.. great sand... comes in a white bag.. yes it has silica in it which is fine for fish.. just be sure to rinse it as with all sand.. rinsing is just to get the "dust" off which clouds the tank..
