Nes999's 1,000 Gallon Plywood Build Mark Two

drilled the holes last night. Took pictures, they will be up later tonight

This is the drain side to the floor drain. one hole at 20% 50% and as low as i can get. the holes are 2inch

This side is filtration. the 3 bottom holes and the hole right above the center bottom are RETURNS the rest are going to two ultimas 2,000's and 2 eheim 2262s' then center hole is to a ohf with right now 220liter of matrix.

These are Monster fans if you look at the lower leg of this fan their is a pop can for reference. im bondoing tomarrow so im useing two of these beasts and a 20inch. and maybe just maybe ill paint this weekend.

just got done bondoing........and just found out i need to bondo more BUT GOOD News! im 99% sure im painting sunday ill have to do one more round of sanding tomarrow but im really sure ill painting sunday

first rule of bondo: where gloves i forgot gloves twice now but i got a set for the next set. i have to run to the storeto buy more bondo.

I just got done sanding and bought everything i need to paint tomarrow. 3 coats at 4 hours between coats ill be their all day.

my coats are Light Blue, White, Light Blue.

Build looks great, Nice work, and looks very strong. Now my 2 cents

Be liberal with the epoxy paint, Don't paint on too thin.

I would go no less than 5 coats. First coat is gonna be real thin because it will soak into the wood, then will build up after that.

Remember you are holding in a lot of water and over built is better.

( I actually did 7 coats, had extra to get rid of)
