lucky for me the paint isnt even remotely hard in the bucket. so i did a coat this morning and mayube in 4-5 ill do another.

AMAZING NEWS!!! i put two coats of white on today and am 2 min from putting blue on if i get lucky ill put one more coat of blue and finsh her up tomattow for those counting thatd be 6 coats

not to bad ifyou put it on thin it was about a hour or two. thick coats 4 hours. the first coat was my issue.

i was surprised on how little smell their was i did last 2 coats no fan and it didnt stink.

notice the two fans. this did an amazing job and sucking fumes.

for 7 bucks for 100 gloves they are worth their weight in gold.

Any thoughts on color?

four sheets of extra stored behind the tank. it toook five to build the tank. maby a 1,000 gallom sump? lol jk jk jk id be killed.

Ive been researching sand and im set on pfs. Everyone suggests lesies pool filter sand. problem is my nearest one is around 4-6 hours away. is the stuff from the great excape the same?

I just used regular sand from Home Depot. The grain size of pool filter sand is a little larger than the HD stuff. Who cares? It's super cheap and looks great and you’re going to need a few hundred pounds. Might want to consider common sand as an alternative? I'm happy I did.

PFS is 5$ for 50# so im not to worried about it i figure ill need bout 250 pounds though

Sorry for the lack of updates. its been to cold to put the final coat of paint on. worked on the electrical plan. itll get done when im near lowes again.
