im thinking i may drive up to the local aqurium (the closest 3 hours away in chicago) and just see if i like any. i know they got big aquriums and itll give me lots of ideas, this will happen come summer of course.

Laird Plastics for acrylic and 2" is more than sufficient for your tank. You could probably even get away with 1.5", but I think the jump is 1.25" to 2" if I remember correctly.

How heavy is a 2" sheet of that stuff? Also what are the dimentions of a sheet?

Edit: I just took a look at their web site looks like sheets can be as big as 124" X 75"
