Hi there, recently lucked out and came across a quite beautiful Red Texas at my LFS here in Thailand. It's easy to find plenty of good/great quality Flowerhorns in lots of shops, but actually not so common to find Red Texans (or Blue/Green Texans for that matter), I guess the breeders are more keen to sell them overseas where they'll usually fetch more money.
He's about 8 months old and about 6 inches or so, with great pearls and light/medium red that I hope gets more red with age and right food. But he's definitely a keeper; just bought a new 80 gallon home for him which he's diggin' on.
Can't post images yet but will after I've made 6 posts. After bringing him home MFK was the first place I came to for info, checking out other Red Texans and just feeling the contagious fish love -- Thx for the great site.
