new owner of SAL

hellow guys first time lungfish owner its an honor to have it.
but i read they will change color/look as they grow up?
its my 3rd day and is about 4-5 inches..any special care on raising SAL?
here it is the pic if you can spot it :D

Nice! They lose their yellow spots as they grow.

yes i do have a place for it to chill near the surface, i kinda amazed at how long they can hold their breath under water with lungs..like almost an hour and could be more, i might time it and log it these days LOL
sometimes i have to poke it around to make sure its not drown..im afraid the fish forgot to breath.
bummer that they dont attain their baby's color..i love the way it is :(

I would think sinking would be easier for your SAL to find. Personally I don't like the floating kind so my SAL and my other fishys get sinking types of pellets.

my sal eats everything i give it and it takes pellets off the surface. it will swim around at the surface till it hits a pellet then it will eat them. it is always eating! anything it finds on the bottom and every snail i have ever put in that tank for the algae that sal eats before they can do anything to the algae.

mine is about 20" long
