New tank lighting

Hello everyone, I started my new tank after being away from the hobby for years.
I have a 125g (4ftX2ftX25”) and have some plants inside running a 48” fluval LED plant light on top.

My question is how many hours a day have you had the light on when starting a new planted tank? So far I’ve been doing 8 hours a day and was going to tweak it from there. I’ve read some go from 8-14 hours a day.

Have a 40 breeder with Anubius, Amazon Swords, and Java Moss. Light on timer 7:10 am to 3:05 pm. Plants are thriving.
