That is AMAZING!!!! I just read the whole thing, took about 1 1/2 hours. It looks awesome. I really like the bog area!

You should definately start throwing some colorful malawi's in there and watch how fast they'll grow in such a perfect enviroment!

Here are some photos from today's cleaning. You can see the algae build-up. The last cleaning was Saturday. If you look by the retaining wall you'll notice that the bottom is pretty clean. This time of year the sun doesn't hit this area.

I found some weird black lines of eggs in my filter. I suppose that they are frog eggs. I'm surprised that the fish didn't eat the eggs. Regardless I vacuumed them out. I think they are these huge toads that up-root my plants.

where do the fish chill out? do they usaullly go to one place over another? they dont seem to be in any of the pics didnt you that tub of them in there? btw sick pond. adn cleaning must be fun.. you too have to clean it alot... idk where you get the time.

The fish seem to hang out underneath the rocks on the filter side. They're also in the rocks by the water lettuce that I just put in by the water fall. They've already bred and I'm started see more little fish scattered all over the pond.

eggs strings look amphibious. Hopefully the fish will take care of the tadpoles if they are the destructive toads.
