True, no need to feed big fish with big pellets as they don’t refuse small pellets. I feed all my fish from 3 to 14 inch size with 2 mm pellets. Once I tried 3 mm and my small fish were struggling, so I switched back to 2 mm. I feed 0.5 and 1 mm to my growing fry and juvies. What size/species of fish are you feeding. The only tip I have is a big fish can eat smaller pellets, but a smaller fish may struggle with the larger pellets. Each species could have different needs, but I would say 8"+ for the 6mm.
The only fish I actually feed the 6mm pellets to is a 13" midevil, everyone else gets 3mm, 1mm, or .5mm. I have some fish around 7" that can eat them but it takes a bit of chewing.True, no need to feed big fish with big pellets as they don’t refuse small pellets.
