Im setting up a 90 gallon north eastern biotrope and im looking for shrimp snails and crawfish that would work in this ecosystem

I agree with collecting local specimens. Head to the closest location with shallow riffles and rapids, it might take some practice and patience and a couple pinched fingers but just keep turning those rocks over and you should be able to fill up a bait bucket after awhile.

invasives are everywhere, its why Crayfish are banned keeping here in PA
Over here it's illegal to transport live wild caught crayfish... Need a research permit tmk
... and don't forget about wc snails having that one parasite or whatever that just slowly kills you if you touch it lol
