what would i need to take care of a pike and could it live with my monster community?

I won't trust the aro or the pike cichlid pike grow slower and they are not as competitive when it comes to food I have a few really sciddish

Northern pike are a cool water fish and even if put in the warm temps your fish require it would soon try to eat its tank mates.

Pike will fight or eat, or attempt to eat anything in their habitat. Not at all a community fish. sorry

pike dont really fight they tend to be the ones getting picked on. Pike are not a crazy fish they know how to size up food only on rare ocasions to pike try to chew of more then they can handle.

I can't imagine a northern as a good pet in any sense, even in a pond- unless it was the only animal you wanted in that pond. I mean, literally. They'll eat ducks.
Pike dont make a good tank fish because they like to stalk there food and if you have other preditors in the tank like bass they will get the food first. Pike in ponds are fine, one would have to grow and live many years to even reach the size to eat a duck. It takes a hungry pike to eat a duck this can be a case of not enough baitfish in the pond.

I've seen one hit a duck so hard that it look like it exploded. Not a fish suitalbe for a tank.
If it was a pike it must have been a starving one more then likly it was a tiger musky or a noraml musky. If it was a pike your should consider yourself lucky to see this type of feeding behavior, as pike dont make a habit of eating ducks.
