northern pike care

I won't trust the aro or the pike cichlid pike grow slower and they are not as competitive when it comes to food I have a few really sciddish
Northern pike aren't competitive? Thats news to me. You have a few in what an Aquarium or Pond? To the OP a 180 is way to small for a Northern pike think more along the lines of a large pond thats deep enough to not freeze solid during the winter.
Northern pike are a cool water fish and even if put in the warm temps your fish require it would soon try to eat its tank mates.
Pike will fight or eat, or attempt to eat anything in their habitat. Not at all a community fish. sorry
I can't imagine a northern as a good pet in any sense, even in a pond- unless it was the only animal you wanted in that pond. I mean, literally. They'll eat ducks.
pike dont really fight they tend to be the ones getting picked on. Pike are not a crazy fish they know how to size up food only on rare ocasions to pike try to chew of more then they can handle.AppStateBimmer;3190402; said:
