Oak vs Maple Aquarium Stand

Hi i am making a consideration in buying a new stand but i wonder if Maple is stronger than oak or Oak is stronger than maple

There are drastically different types of trees in both the maple and oak families, so depending on which specific tree species you are talking it could be either.

If you go through a reputable builder either will be fine.

It honestly does not matter between those 2. The strength of both are very close to each other.

The real question is are you looking at having a stand built entirely out of a solid hardwood or skinned?
