i told my gramps about all the replys.
he got a kick out of it.
also,he said his buddy is thinking of selling his tank.
my grandpa made the tank for him many years ago.
hes going to talk to him for me.we will see.

I love it if you fined any more pictures please put them on that was some tank to have in those days. How long ago was that taken? As a baby some of my first memories were being sat in front of my dads marine tank in those days they were mettle framed it was a 6ft built into the wall the funny thing when mum and dad moved 3 years ago I took it down the tip nearly gave me a hernia. How cares if its 2 ft high thats one cool old tank

Very cool! I can imagine what people thought or were saying about him way back then?..."He must have been a real celebrity to all the LFS and aquariasts" at that time! Much props and respect to your grandfather!
i think i found that pic in the 78' photo book.
yes,with his tank building skills and diving skills.everyone knew who to go to.
this tank was awsome cus of the length,i never seen it,wasnt born yet lol.
but i seen many,hopefully i can find more pics of his other tanks this weekend.
hes been diving all over.
hes from ny,dove there,then fl,hes been to the bahamas,keys,virgin islands cayman islands.
and all the others around there.
you should see the pics of the fish he has caught diving and fishing to.
some are big as him.
wonder if hes the reason im a fish keeper at heart? lol
when i was a kid,we would go there,i would go strait to the tanks.
he got his own live rock,well he hated some crabs that were on the rocks.
so i would come over and stare into the tanks looking for crabs.
when i found one he would come scoop it out.
did that for a long time.
