Orange venezuelan corydoras water temperature

Can these guys do well at 79 degrees? I'm seeing mixed water temps for them online.

Yes, Cory Catfish are very hardy. The normal water temperature for normal cory catfish in a tropical tank is 72-82 degrees. They should be completely fine.

Do you know if you have the true Corydoras venezuelanus or possibly the C. aeneus that is mislabeled?

Planet Catfish lists the true C. venezuelanus as preferring temps in the low to mid 70's Here

There is no Cory that needs permanently 80+. Too high temperatures decrease their lifespans.
Alot of people keep C. sterbai with discus. In this case the sterbai normaly last maximum 10 years. But when you keep them a bit lower or provide a cooler phase over some weeks they can live over 15 years.

I dont have them yet was gonna see if my tank temp would work then order them. Unfortunately there is no picture
