So I’m doing a water change and I come back to fill up the tank and I notice my Oscar has what appear to be burn marks on both of his eyes ? Has anyone seen this and can anyone help with treatment? Not sure what happened??
The hole in the head has been addressed already about 3 months ago and has ceased progress. As far as the damaged eyes I put some Pimafix and some salt and it cleared right up. He’s in a 75 gal with three red hooks. Ty for the response!Looks like you've got Hith and possibly early ich and tatty side fin..those eye spots might be a function of water quality. You need to provide more information about parameters but increased w/cs are a start. Someone else can chime in, but your fish needs treatment. Tank size? Water schedule?

Also I failed to specify they weren’t there when I started the water change ! That’s why I felt it was so bizarre. Still not sure what happened, possibly burn from the heater I’m not sure.I agree with FINWIN, looks like HITH on the face, and another type infection in the eyes.
These are both typically due to water quality issues, probably from too few and decent size regular water changes.
Beside the physical info FINWIN asked, you need to provide the water parameters like nitrate, and pH if you want relevant answers.

Good to hear he's doing better! Might want to shoot for a 125 or 150, that's a lot of fish for a 75...you'll end up with the same water quality issues.
