Hi All,

I have 3 Oscar fishes of about 10" long in my 5 feet tank. Around 3 weeks back I have noticed one of the oscar's stomach was swollen slightly, initially i thought that was normal but the swelling has been increasing since then.
The fish is not active as before, but to my surprise it is still accepting food and becomes active while feeding. Is it some kind of internal tumor??

Will any medication be helpful to cure this, and i am pretty sure its not constipation.

Don’t think it’s a tumor since somewhat evenly swollen. Can never tell without touching and looking in the fish. Would try some Epsom salt 1 tbsp per 5g. What are u feeding? Water parameters including water hardness?

If you are concerned about constipation you may want to check the threads on feeding Epsom salt. If the fish is still eating it's a good way to clean it out. This also helps with internal gastro diseases. This may also be some sort of disease causing it to bloat. This can be very serious.
What are the water parameters and what type of water change schedule do you do? Another question (more for the future if the oscar pulls thru), do you feed the oscars any sort of roughage? Do you ever feed garlic?

Also what is the temp of the tank?
