Pacu or Piranha?

I got my pacu (or piranha, I don't know) 2 months ago. I got it at about 1 inch and now it's 3 inches. I had it in a 10 gallon quarintine for 1 month. Then I moved it to a 75 gallon. It hides behind the filter all day. I'm still confused about whether it's a pacu or piranha. It eats like a vacum and has one triangular tooth and a bunch of small ones. It's soooo fast. I have asked many people and I just get a mix of answers. Please help. I can't add any pictures, it won't work.
 
How does the mouth look? Compare it with this photo. The main difference will be in their jaw structure as piranhas will have an overbite...

Coloration almost always isn't a 100% way of distinguishing species. Look at the jaw and head shape. Piranha has a much bigger mouth and lower jaw, also the forehead is much steeper, and eye more forward.

Look at the corner of the mouth. Piranha have a acute angle like this >. Pacu have a square corner of the mouth.
 
Underbite. Pirhana will have and underbjte and look like little bulldogs.
 
its a Pirhana after 1 month a pacu would be like 6-8 inches pacu can hide too but after a month he should be out more a Pirhana will hide forever
 
LOL...I meant underbite, NOT overbite!

You'd think I would know these things since they're currently swimming in my tank
