Heres the deal i am building a plywood tank, i have fiber glassed the inside, i was thinking about buying the sweetwater epoxy paint but your talking over 60$ for one gallon, i dont need the paint to seal the tank i have put like 10coats of resine to do that, so is there any other options when it comes to paint i can put on the inside of the tank?

there might be paints out there that are safe, but I'm pretty sure your supposed to paint it then cover it with epoxy/resin.

Krylon doesn't spec anything for Fglass that I could find.

Some boat (marine) paints (not anti-fouling) can stay fully submerged by only lasts a year or so. (I've used a couple but it's been a while).

Check boat refinishing supplies?

drylock is $22 a gallon a lowes and you can have them add color to it, but they can only do lighter colors cause you can only add 2oz of color per gallon....

Sweetwater paint your looking at $57 a gallon then shipping cost from Fla. to your zip for 7 lbs and $20 Hazmat shipping fee. Or go back where you got your marine epoxy and get more plus whatever color pigment you want. It might be cheaper. The sweetwater 2 part epoxy is already tinted for you with the pigments.
