Paratilapia Polleni w/ Mbuna?

As I look into these beautiful fish, most videos I see show people successfully keeping them with other African cichlids. I have a 75 gallon Mbuna tank, and was wondering if 1 (preferably female due to smaller size) could work with this setup? Appreciate any thoughts/experience anyone can share.

Nope

Tank way too small, I wouldn’t do it even in much larger tank due to fin nipping. Some things are worth trying, this isn’t one of them.

Although the island Magdagascar appears geopraphically close to Africa, Malagasy fish are more closely related to the fishes of India, so not really as compatible as the geography suggests.
The plate techtonics reveal that Madagascar more recently broke off from India ibstead of Africa and drifted east.
Some Madagascan species appear to have mirror images in India, and share the same unigue auditory hearing system as species from India.

Not that geography means a lot to most aquarists, but (being a biotope guy), Madagascar and Africa are like world apart as far as cichlids compatabillity goes.
