I’ve got a deposit on two foot long pbass, one azul and one Orinoco, LFS says that they aren’t aggressive, both pellet trained as well. They would be going into a 400 gal indoor pond with one 15” Florida gar and 24” longnose gar. Would there be any problems with that. both gars are extremely docile and peacefu. do peacock bass pick on anything that is same size or larger? And if anyone has had experience keeping gars and peacock bass together, I’d like to know.

Peacocks are aggressive towards each other and are very competitive when it comes to food your gars might have trouble getting a chance to eat food.

I was worried about that, anyway I can prevent that from happening?

I agreed with what wolfman said. However the gars are in a big enough pond that you can feed them at different end. My bass are so aggressive with food that it’s hard for me to try to get the smaller bass more food.
