I agree. He is packed full of pellets at the moment however so that could have something to do with it!

I have had Occelaris before and have never seen spangling at any size,

It's definitely not a 100% tem. I would go with 100% ocellaris. If you can get a no flash shot of the face/cheek we can see if it may have some tem in it.
