Hey guys I was interested in the breeding aspects of peacock gudgeons. I've read a lot but would like some info from mfkers ya know. Haha I'm also particularily interested in how to sex them as that's my biggest issue right now and what ratio should I keep males to females. Thanks for reading guys!

I've heard using pieces of PVC. That's just what I've read. I've been looking to get some peacock gudgeons for awhile. I know on aquariacentral theres a couple people that have bred them. Where did you get yours at?
Sweet. I wish one of my LFS would get these. I found some online but the shipping is more expensive than the cost of the fish.
They used to be on Aquabid.com, but I guess not anymore. I was interested for a time, but then I grew past that phase. peacock gudgeons need to breed in a pvc pipe or other cave. they need live or frozen foods. males will guard the eggs, so leave them in. take him out after they hatch. males have a hump on their heads. females have black lining on their anal fin. the females' stomaches get big and silver when they are ready to spawn.
