under a bridge in fl
my petsmart has baby dinosaur bichirs.
last time i bought one they were the yellowish orange kind.
just went there, now, under the same name, they have like a two toned grey kind.
mostly light grey with darker grey squares here and there.
anyone have pics of a baby whatever you think they are to match?lol
and if you can tell what kind they might be,how much are they worth?
thanks in advance :D

id say the price is about average for them

The only ones i have ever seen at a Petsmart are the Polypterus senegalus, or Senegal as Ben posted.
heres a pic from Badmans

i get a pic or two of mine up in a few, i think i got a video too... mine seem to be EXTREMELY active!

As long as I've worked there I've not seen us carry anything except Polypterus senegalus.

When I spent more time in the fish department I used comment on the tags we have for them there, I'm not sure if they've updated the nomenclature on them recently but it used to say Polypterus bichir and gave a max size of 6" o.0

and for what tank are you getting this bichir?

your sig says you've got 1 5G tank, right? they need 30-40G min. I just want to make sure you aren't getting him for too smal a tank.
