it works?
im thinking of maybe moving him in the next day or so.
worried tho
he is a monster,and moving him isnt going to be fun.
then gotta aclimate him
then move him again.
also he hasnt eaten in over a week.
has a busted lip from banging the lid.
just hope he makes it through all this.

Why are you acclimating from one tank in your house to the next??? Is the water that different from each tank?

im sure the water is different.
cleaner newer not as cycled.
but im moving all the filter media with the fish.
and some said i should aclimate him.
he isnt seeming to good.
i dont have a spare heater to heat the 240
its about 7 degrees lower.
im thinking before the move i could move heater and hope his tank doesnt drop to fast and the 240 will heat up fast.
this all bites.lol

I say get some new heaters, and i reccommend stealths. greatest heater out there and i have a jager to btw.

use the hot water from ur bathroom i have become pretty good at judgeing the temp with my hand and just to be 100% about it i also use a digi them while the water is running and wait to see it get steady and go from there but what ever u do i wish u all good luck brother
