Here’s a link to a little video of my tank I just posted today, so it includes my newest addition!!! Check it out! Thank you to everyone who likes and comments on my posts here. I appreciate all the feedback and advice, I don’t have any friends or anything in the hobby so it’s nice to socialize with other fish keepers here. So once again thanks!! And hope you enjoy! 5D138354-1603-45A1-8118-643305A7ADC2.jpeg C9455D6F-FA69-4285-833B-88A00D058D9D.jpeg E2694737-527C-4557-AB5F-7C87B6C54833.jpeg 0D0C717C-A437-434D-93CC-87304982F68F.jpeg 50829179-CA07-4749-8626-E3B2332DF5BF.jpeg DF242357-F489-4F6A-8FB4-E43BCED7B9CF.jpeg DF89ED8C-3683-4C1F-9A37-DB475A5C8B1B.jpeg 9D478B5F-283C-49DB-A322-D56E6C669529.jpeg 08C367DD-C855-45E0-AA8B-7476A77C1714.jpeg 5EF8F8DF-633D-432D-B988-76F64A0701DC.jpeg BD4D150C-696B-41A9-A4C7-226188D413BC.jpeg 592254F3-B2F9-40A1-98EA-C8FED87855EF.jpeg 3D4B6313-779A-4E3F-B388-DE74045D5AE4.jpeg 6CF5F0DC-342B-43C8-9E32-DBBE220E4992.jpeg 02802330-1FE9-425F-B66D-21C1A51D1515.jpeg 173EB988-B0A1-406A-903D-542C84E3C3EC.jpeg 14AC7414-60A7-4E69-BD71-560333B2AD1B.jpeg

Enjoyed the video. Looks like a very healthy grouping of fish. Nice looking baby Rivulatus GT. I'm sure you know as things progress tank or tankmate adjustments will need to be made. Looks like you found a good balance regarding aggression. Nice job.

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate that. I have the funds lined up for a 150-200 tank installation for next month, in which I am moving Ruby and Opal (the two Oscars) and Starlight (jack Dempsey) into. Once again thank you for your comment and suppport!

Tank looks pretty crowded to me. What size is this? Not to be rude, your fish do all look good. But not sure I'd be adding more fish to that tank.
NO disrespect taken! I plan on moving the three largest fish to a larger tank next month.

Sounds like a plan. From the pics, I see 2 Oscars, a Jack Dempsey, a green terror, a firemouth, a convict, a blue acara, and a pleco. My advice would be try to get the biggest tank you can, 180-210 would be good. Put the Oscars, green terror, pleco, and acara in there. Those fish I just named are all south American, and tend to live better together than with central American cichlids. The JD, convict, and firemouth, are central. I'd leave them in the current tank, which looks like a 75 or so? Those stockings would probably work out ok. Might have to move things around a bit, you will see the aggression levels change. My main concern would be between convict and firemouth... FM might have to go with the south's in the big tank. But you can play around with moving fish until you get it right.
Just my .02
Good luck!

Thank you to the whole community you all are extremely helpful and informative! There’s a lot of bad information out there so it’s good to have a place where someone can learn and grow in the hobby!
