i just wanna make a practise tanks of round the 3x3x3 mark. hey to u just paint on this stuff or do u need fiber glass mats?

one kit would probably more than do for that. its thick like grease i used a short nib roller and a flat plastic tool like a squeegee.amehel0;1726200; said:

OK I have a small update.
Last night I painted the bracing with Pond Shield and White Exterior Paint, and this morning I fitted them with the 100mm batten screws.
After fitting I ran a bead of silicone along the underside edges so any splash or moisture that raises from the tank will not end up under the braces where they are secured to the main tank.

OK I started to fill my tank this morning, 
Unfortunately, I had to stop once I covered the bulk head fittings 3 were leaking from the seals and a couple from the threads at the rear.
The threads didn't worry me as I knew I would have to use some plumbers tape to seal them properly.
As you can see in the photo's I have silicone between the rubber gasket and the back of the tank, then screwed them up tight and smoothed the glue around the fitting.
Now I wait 3-5 days for this to dry and get some plumbers tape and do the fittings at the back up etc.

Cheers, I have got my fish sorted, I have a soft spot for Satanoperca leucosticta ( Commonly sold as Jurupari), and have organized to get 20 4-5 cm ones, gonna grow out the leucosticta and keep 10, so I will be stocking my tank with the following.amehel0;1736928; said:
