i went on the site that you gave me helped alot thanks. i was trying to under stand your filter system. i have a wet dry so i know how it works but i was interested in how you are bringing the water in. does it have an overflow? what type of pump do you use to put the water back in? are you having any problems?

There are four 2 inch holes with bulkheads in the back of the tank you can see them in most pictures. I am using a 700gph odd pump brought from my local fish shop. I had a few leaks in the black fittings but silicon and plumbers tape fixed that.

what is the plastic on the edges. did you put silicon then that on top.

That is fiber glass tape.

how many coats did you out on the wood?

way more than recommended, was three thick coats. at least twice as much as recommended.

It cost me 500 aussie dollars, but how thats relevant to you I have no Idea, if your trying to increase your postings just start a thread man otherwise read the thread.

Well that will be the procedure when you get serious about building one...might as well get accurate quotes and shop prices if you are gonna be a DIY'r...
