Pogger fish ?

Ok yall. The older sirs may not be able to awnser this but for all us spry younguns what do you think the pogger fish is? Species wise? Im thinking cyprinid.

I'm 17 and even I have problems understanding what a pogger fish is. I know poggers is used to show excitement but what is a "pogger fish"? A fish that's exciting to watch/keep?

its this random fish that looks really excited so people decided to call it the poggers fish

its a word that people ironically use to show excitement. or after you shoot a great shot in any sport

might be why I dont know it im a competitive swimmer so we dont shoot at goals and stuff
