All this info supports my long-quest for finding a nice and fierce cool-looking cool-eating fish for a smaller tank (eg 30-55gal)!
Aggressive and Predatory are two different things!! chichlids are not predatory, look at them! their "Cute" fishes with un-fierce mouths Xp. (they kill for no reason)

so far i found these guys, though my sources come from online research. any help to clarify if the critters i paranthesized have teeth??

listed by species / avg. maximum size

Rainbow Snakehead = 8 inches??
African Snakehead = 14 inches
African Butterfly fish = 4 inches (IDK if it has teeth???)
Freshwater "Moray" Eel (Echidna Rhodochilus) = 14 inches (No teeth >_<)
FW garfish (Xenentodon Cancila) = 12 inches
Gray Bichir = 12 inches (teeth??)
Guyana Leaffish = 4 inches (has a ripped condom for a mouth)
Niger Snakehead = 13 inches
Pink Tailed Chalceus = 10 inches (teeth?)
Silver Datnoid = 12 inches (teeth?)
*Spotted Chachorro = 10 inches

anything else to add to the list?? the fish should be able to (and BORN to) kill and eat other fish.

aw man i just learned about wolf fish... are they freshwater??? how big do they get??? Hoplias Malabaricus?

id have to say exodon paradoxus

Alligator Gar - 10ft ~ lotta visible sharp teeth
Goliath African Tiger Fish - 5ft ~ lotta visible sharp teeth
Black Pacu - 5ft ~ lotta visible human shape teeth
Armatus Payara - 4ft ~ lotta visible sharp teeth

(You can keep them when they are babies)

:D

Honestly, none of these fish will be happy in a 30G tank >.>;;;

they are known as scale-eaters. will destroy small fish by eating their scales

thats why i dislike them. i dont wanna be pulling out dead guppies all the time. why is the gray bichir illegal?? i can obtain any bichir so how did that happen?
apparently exodons are illegal too. >.> atleast people will stop saying them i hope.

Snakeheads are illegal but i can catch them in Lake Wilson lol... how does that work out.

Add-on; i been researching snakeheads and im kinda wondering why their illegal if their are similar and equal native predators such as gar and many other things. and nobody knows the origin of the snakehead so it might even be native to north america! just like the hawaiians... get treated like minorities in their own land..

they most likely had their origins in Africa. They were introdued to Hawaii as a food fish.they are illegal because they are considered an invasive species.Catching them and keeping them is illegal too-Anne
