This thread is basically your charity cases that you keep because you can't bear to cull it.

This poor Grammodes is the offspring of my former pair. It got stuck in an AC110 filter for at least a couple of months in a sponge. Needless to say he's stunted.

When I rearranged fish, I put the Festae in his tank. I took out all the other cichlids but couldn't catch this little guy. But I thought he had enough driftwood to hide out and be fine.

One day I came home and he looked like half a fish laying on the sand. One of the Festae had bitten his entire snout off. He was a horrible mess of blood and fish tissue. Oh crap he was still alive! I left him in there thinking the Festae would finish him off in a minute.

The little buggar somehow scooted himself under a piece of driftwood and then managed to live. He still has no snout...just a hole in his face and as he swims around, he sucks in flakes or frozen foods. He's fought so hard to live I can't bear to cull him.

Sorrry for the long story. Now post your mutilated or deformed fish!!!!

I just cut the head off my stunted blind Oscar that came with my 230 gal tank last night.

This threads about posting pictures of fish that have been deformed that people can't bear to kill/cull and you come in here saying you chopped off the head of an Oscar.

I can't find a pic, but I have a video of one. My fliers bred and the runt of the litter was a balloon bodied A. centrarchus. I kept him forever. He was dwarfed. He eventually developed what looked like a swim bladder problem and died.

you can see it in the beginning and at 8:29. Never got any bigger than that.

Please guys-Natural Deformites and Mutilations Only. If the fish had it's head bitten off by another fish and lived, but you kept it because you feel sorry for it, that's a good candidate. Lets' exclude pictures of fish who's head you chopped off. That is only going to start a flame war.

Also NO man made deformities, like heart shaped parrots or blood parrots and such.
