Spill your beans (or fish food), and post your feeding schedule and what you feed.
Ideally Central & SA Cichlids but also what you may have in with them. I’m new and hoping to steal some ideas and create the “ideal” diet, albeit every fish will vary.
Please list your stock & tank gallons, plus your feeding frequency with types of food. I’ll start:
Stock (305gallons):
1x Blue Texas Escondido Cichlid
1x Jack Dempsey Cichlid
1x Green Terror
1x Madagascar Cichlid
1x Jewel Cichlid
3x Silver Dollar
5x Boesmani Rainbow
Feeding frequency:
Morning (7am):
NLS Medium Fish Formula 2mm sinking
Tropical Flower Horn Adult (float)
Tropical Spirulina Super Flakes
2x Hikari Algea Wafers (sinking)
Evening (7pm):
Tropical Spirulina Super Flakes
2x Hikari Algea Wafers (sinking)
Tropical Medium Soft Line America sinking
(Alternate the following three foods)
Hikari Frozen Krill (5 Krill)
Frozen Bloodworms (2 cubes)
Frozen Mysis Shrimp (2 cubes)
I feed them 7 days a week and alternate the frozen food (Krill, MS, BW) so they repeatedly have 3 days of different frozen foods.

As an aside, my cichlids all get along but I’m assuming as they develop they may need a change of scenery; which I will find for them so please don’t torch me yet!
