my special fish are the florida/spotted gar whose back was broken when i got him, after a few months he recovered and is my favorite gar and the other special fish i have is my cuban chilcid nandopsis tetracanthus who was born with a deformity and has finnage similar to a barramundi
right now in my new tank there aren't any lights thus can't take snaps to show you guys but will post pics tomorrow
