Potential Dovii Hybrid

At this stage it’s starting to become a running theme the whole notion of me having parachromis species that I am unsure of the exact parentage.
Here’s another one for you all.
This I picked up today. I’ve attached a photo in the tank, in the bucket in natural sunlight and of the vents
I believe this to be a female P. Dovii hybrid
Thoughts?

The picture I shared is from a few months back and he would color up if there wasn't any excitement.

Give it time to settle into the tank and he'll color into this.

They stay brownish when stressed or bored. And yes, yellow and pattern will vary with freidrichstallii depending on catch location. Yours is a nice sized male. Females will have a solid color gill plate with no pattern or spots

Is this freidrichstallii as in formerly loiselle or the fish that is currently Multifasciatus?

Formerly loisellei, still referenced to freidrichstallii now multi.
I'm more used to freidrichstallii so I use it and I'll probably continue to use it.
