I'm cycling a 180 gallon tank right now and i'm about a week away from intrducing the Piranha's to the tank. Would you guys suggest putting in a powerhead and if so, what kind? My filtration is a wet/dry sump system with a pump that is pushing about 900gph? Do you also think that is enough? Let me know, thanks. 8 Piranha's will be housed in this 180g.

I like Hydor Koralia series, you can get 4 and up for your 180g.

you can probably get by with just one, the output area is fairly large compare to AC901 so even with the higher flow rate, the current won't be a rush (have both, AC901 destroys all the plants in the path of the current, the 4 does them no harm). Depends on the size of your fish, you can always start with one first then upgrade to two if you think one is not enough. or just get the newer model, like the Hydor Koralia Magnum 5 or 6 or even 7 or 8. they have higher flow rate but use less electricity. (also more money)
