I just got back in the hobby I'm looking to get pure Florida strain largemouth bass and pure muskie and some Florida bluegill the place I ordered the bass from is no longer in operation anymore it close cause if covid

Def. Seems “plausible” then… looks like tigers and regs are stocked in ur state. A quick search pulled up “blue dog fish hatchery”.. might get lucky just calling them. Ur laws look like catch and release only from what i can find so i think collecting is out, may have different laws for possession tho. Might just need to keep ur proof of purchase for legal reasons. Theres usually not too much trouble regarding natives but every state is different. U might b a bit late as there usually stocked right before ice up/winter. Def. Worth calling around ur state hatcheries tho to see if they’ll throw u a bone on a few fingerlings or to even find one that sells to the public.
Yea I was looking for some one that is from Florida to help me get the Florida strain largemouth bass or even go to a fish farm I would pay for the shipping
Dont get me wrong but maybe jonahs one of our native fish suppliers has those in stock from time to time and I believe they are based in Florida
Oh duh me, I do recall talking about the bowfins ./other fish and they were getting those from Florida / Michigan perhaps for the bowfin part. Oops my bad
