Question about legal or illegal arowana in the States..

Are these legal in the U.S., got a guy on Facebook goes by Planet fish farm, offering to sell one of these even tho I never asked or shown interest in purchasing one (someday) after looking at the list he sent me these caught my attention. After asking him aren't these illegal here he told me he would give all paperwork needed to have one.... I'm not buying it but I am curious to know if he is laying or telling the truth. Someday I'd love to own one but not at the moment...

No its a scam. None of those are legal in USA.
Legal arowana are silver and it's other colors. Black arowana. Jardini. I think thats it.
Easier said African, South American, Australian arowana are legal.

Yes unfortunately it's got to be a scam, of which there are multitudes when it comes to esp. Asian Arowana. Here's a recent thread discussing some similar places

Wow I do have to say that website is quite elaborate and well done (except the based in Oklahoma part lol), but still the law is the law and for sure it is illegal what they're suggesting -- to get a genuine permit to keep Asian Arowana you have to be from an aquarium or bonafide research center and even then it's not easy.

It's also interesting that like 80% of the comments on that first page are trying to convince people it's a legit and trustworthy company, they're trying a bit too hard there lol.

Yeah deffo illegal in the states. I've found one person peddling Asian aros in the US, they were IP based in Ghana!! So yes definitely a scam and not legal

That’s another tell tale sign when they have a huge stock list like that. Real dealers don’t have that many different types. Even Kevin from stingray biology doesn’t have that many rays available for sale.
