Hi,

still trying to get my hands on a male midas/ midas pair.
Always went out to be females 😄
So… new shot…
I know I have to vent them to be sure, just curious what you guys think…

My guess: 1 = male , 2= female , 3= male
Any opinions are welcome 😎
And sry for the bad pics… these were the best I could get 🙈

...and likely have to split them up due to aggression 6 months after that 😆

Your best bet is always going to be buying a group of 6-8 and letting them sort it out themselves.

they are easy to breed and with patience & good care you’ll have a pair forming in 6 months to a year.

To be honest thats exactly what I did. I ordered 6 but just got 4 and 2 convicts.
The 4. is way smaller and I wasn‘t able to get a pic of him.

Even with 4, it's extremely unlikely that all four are the same sex so a pair forming is still likely. However, it's impossible to sex them visually most of the time, and absolutely at that size, so the photos you posted are useless for even a "guess" at sex. Venting is your only way to tell for sure at the moment. I'd just leave them be an wait to see what happens.
